Founder Bio

Felicia has been training jiu jitsu for over ten years and earned her black belt in 2023 under Professor Steven Bonjoino. She trains at South Jersey Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (SJBJJ) and is the first female in her academy's history to earn her black belt. Felicia is the lead female instructor at SJBJJ and runs the school's growing women's program.

Felicia started Randori Partners because she realized that a lot of what made her successful professionally, she attributed to the lessons she learned on the mats of her jiu jitsu school: Confidence, calmness under pressure, perseverance, mental toughness and most of all, a non-victimhood mentality. She wanted a way to share core aspects of jiu jitsu with people outside of the gym.

Felicia is the executive director of GreenLight Fund Philadelphia and sits on the board of Saint Joseph's Carpenter Society, Life Science Cares Philadelphia, The Fountain Fund, Hopeworks and PowerCorps PHL. She has a BA from Rutgers University and a MA from King's College, London.  Felicia spends her free time with her husband, Matt Rinier (also a black belt in jiu jitsu) and their three senior chihuahuas, Hugo (10), Daisy (13) and Taco (16).  She is trying to get better at golf.
